Neurorobotics
26-30 September 2022
This event was intended for all students interested in the emerging science at the intersection of computational neuroscience, artificial intelligence and robotics. In lectures and practical courses we covered all aspects relevant to brain-inspired robotics with a focus on the latest simulation platforms. Lectures were accompanied by talks from external speakers. In practical sessions we programmed neurorobotics experiments to study the interaction between brain, body, and environment in closed perception-action loops.
This summer school was on-site and offered an immersive and highly interdisciplinary learning experience. All attendees had the opportunity to present their work in a poster session. The programme and the speaker overview can be found here.

Plastic Processing
26-30 September 2022
This Summer School was aimed at all students interested in the key technology of lightweight construction, especially polymer processing. We covered relevant aspects in lectures, with a focus on the latest developments in injection moulding. In practical courses at our research centre and in our state-of-the-art laboratories, the fundamental issues of thermoplastic processing from compounding to the manufacture of a complex component can be clarified and tested in terms of production technology. During the course, students learned the practical aspects of polymer processes. They also learned the secrets of some unusual situations and problem solutions in the production of high-quality products.
This summer school was on-site and offers an immersive and highly interdisciplinary learning experience.
